King of Atlantis will be released as a feature film

The popular HBO Max animated mini-series Aquaman: King of Atlantis was released as an animated feature film on April 26, 2022.

The series is bundled in digital and DVD formats and will be available for $19.99 when it releases next month. The series, which was produced by Warner Bros. Entertainment and Seen director James Wan (Aquaman) attached as executive producer, tells the story of Aquaman beginning his first day as King of Atlantis, and the many adventures he must go through in the process.

Aquaman: King of Atlantis premiered on HBO Max on October 14, 2021 and ran for three episodes, totaling 45 minutes.

Described as a playful reimagining of the iconic superhero, Aquaman: King of Atlantis features the vocals of Cooper Andrews (The Walking Dead) as Aquaman, Gillian Jacobs (Community) as Mera, Thomas Lennon (Reno 911) as Vulko, and Dana Snyder (Jelly!) as master of the oceans.
