Revolutionary launch of Atlantis | News

Officials opened the Atlantis Senior Tower, a seven-story assisted living facility on March 23 that will connect to the existing Chateau Madeleine Senior Living & Memory Care in Suntree.

Atlantis Senior Tower will add 90,000 square feet and 80 residential units to the existing 69,000 square feet and 84 units of Château Madeleine at 205 Hardoon Lane in Suntree.

“As we got bigger and bigger, we had to do something different,” said Eric Hardoon, the administrator and executive director of Château Madeleine, while describing the tower during an after- revolutionary party.

Scheduled for a grand opening in 2023, the tower will provide residents with larger apartments with large storage areas throughout the building, Hardoon said.

Some of the tower’s 5-star resort amenities include a high-ceilinged lobby, heated swimming pool with railings and tropical landscaping over the water, a 260-seat glass-enclosed dining room over the water, an underground booze-filled bar overlooking the water, outdoor seating with a waterside firepit and barbecue grill built-in, guest suites for out-of-town family members, a stage and entertainment area, a private chapel, a large sundry store, and a 3,000 square foot banquet hall available for residents and their family members.

At the top of the tower, residents can view all rocket launches from the Rocket Launch Bar & Bistro, complete with a full restaurant, full liquor bar, and observation deck.

“All drinks and food will be named after space themes,” he said.

Chateau Madeleine held a ceremony ahead of the inauguration of the new tower on March 22, and the facility’s first 12 residents dug shovels into the earth to mark the occasion.

“That’s why we’re building a tower, because you said how awesome this place is,” Hardoon told the “founding” residents.

Located off Wickham Road in Brevard Medical City, Chateau Madeleine is a seniors’ residence and remembrance facility. The three-story building, which welcomed its first residents in October 2019, has 62 apartments dedicated to independent and assisted living as well as 22 memory care studios. The resort is named after Hardoon’s grandmother, Madeleine.
