Colin Trevorrow spoke to Empire about his plans for a currently untitled Atlantis movie he hopes to direct after the release of Jurassic World: Dominion.

For a generation right now to be able to step into a world that’s no different from their world — where their elders basically gave them a dying civilization — I think it’s a good time for this story.

It’s the only thing that equals dinosaurs to me. I guess I tend to go back to the past. But, you know, it was the first time we had the technology. And that’s at a time when we had other types of creatures that no longer exist. There are so many things about it that fascinate me. So yeah, I’m a deep nerd for that.
